At last! Confirmation of what lots of concerned residents have been saying regarding Kingswood Primary School. In a letter to the Parish Council, Executive Head Ian Barkley states "I would however, like to point out that although the Local Authority saw no reason for a school comment, the observation that the school capacity is 120, and therefore can cope with an extra six or seven pupils, is rather simplistic. The school’s admission number is 15 per year group and we are already oversubscribed in several year groups."

Kingswood is a small village on the edge of the Cotswolds.  The Primary Aim of the Keep Kingswood a Village organisation is to promote Kingswood and the importance of its community.  As a part of keeping the community feeling of the Village the KKaV will resist development within the Village that would detract from the current quality of village life.

There are presently two Applications for development of the same piece of land in the village, one of which has been refused and is going to Appeal.
